In 1998 after long successful careers as performers and a wealth of experience, husband and wife team Vivien and James Wells decided to form their own production company ‘Pelé Productions Ltd. Pelé style is to bring children's fairy stories to life, with the magic of theatre and bang up to date into the 21st century. Mixing traditional music with pop has proved to be a winning formula with adults and children alike, and seeks to inspire a love of theatre from an early age. Viv and Jim have produced many successful Christmas productions working alongside the legendary Paul Nicholas in Peter Pan, Faith Brown, Lucy Jo Hudson in Cinderella, Susie Blake, Amanda Barrie in the Wizard of Oz and Bill Ward in 2006 sell out production of Aladdin at The Lowry.
